One of the popular choices is their Prawn Cheong Fun ($4.50). The rice rolls are extremely smooth and silky, and easy to bite into. The rice rolls here are also more on the thicker side, so you should soak the rice rolls longer in the sauce to let the rolls absorb the soy sauce more.

The prawns used in this dish are extremely juicy and big, yet still giving off a crunchy texture which complements the texture of the rice rolls. There are definitely a few textures going on when you’re digging into this dish.

The star of the dish is their sauce. Though it may look like any other Chee Cheong Fun sauce, the sauce has a balanced flavour of sweet and salty. Some soy sauces served at other stalls can be too salty, however at Sing Lung HK Cheong Fun, you can definitely have the sauce on its own. It’s that good!

Another popular variation of their Chee Cheong Fun is their Char Siew Cheong Fun ($4.20). The only difference in this is instead of prawns, it comes with char siew.

The Char Siew pieces are not too salty and pair well with the sweet soy sauce that comes along with the rice rolls. The soy sauce also brings out the flavours of the char siew, allowing you to enjoy the layers of sweet, savoury, and smokiness, all in one bite!
