Their basic Hainanese Chicken Rice ($3.00) is simple, yet delicious! The rice is slow-cooked in a savoury chicken broth with ginger, imbuing the rice with its savouriness. The roasted chicken is slowly roasted as well, giving the skin a soft texture whilst melting the fat underneath. As a whole, this dish has a concentrated chicken flavour that, paired with their homemade garlic chilli sauce, is an amazing experience!

Where many restaurants struggle to create a decent Chicken Rice, Sedap Corner Nasi Ayam Hainan has mastered it. The chicken is juicy, tender and flavourful. The skin is soft and slightly salty, giving an added dimension to each bite. The rice is not too hard and not too soft. It also fully absorbed the chicken broth and ginger flavour. As a whole, this dish perfectly encapsulates the chicken flavour like no other!
