Old Chang Kee Releases Steamed Curry Chicken Bao Exclusively At Tanjong Pagar!

Old Chang Kee is probably known to have one of the best curry puffs in Singapore. With innovative flavours such as Salted Egg Yam, Chilli Crab Camou, and Hae Bee Hiam Chicken, it is no doubt one of the best places to get your curry puff fix. However, these unique flavours are seasonal and are no longer available. But fret not, we have some good news for you! Old Chang Kee has released a new Steamed Curry Chicken Bao, exclusively in Tanjong Pagar at Old Chang Kee Coffee House!

Exclusively At Tanjong Pagar’s Old Chang Kee Coffee House

For those who have never been to Old Chang Kee Coffee House, there are over three outlets opened in Singapore. The Tanjong Pagar outlet is the latest store out of the three to be opened. Unlike the classic kiosks stations we usually see, Old Chang Kee’s coffee houses offers a much more extensive menu. With a plethora of items to choose from such as home-cooked dishes, sides, desserts, and beverages, you will certainly be spoiled for choice. What’s even better is that you can dine in and enjoy your meal, unlike your usual grab-and-go kiosks.

Same Same But Different: Old Chang Kee Curry Chicken Bao

The Curry Chicken Bao ($1.60), features the same curry puff filling as the original Curry’O. However, it is instead wrapped in a bao skin with pleats to resemble the traditional curry puff. Instead of it being deep-fried, these are steamed. For those who are health-conscious, this will make a great option if you’re craving for a taste of curry puff! Enjoy the same taste and forget about the calories!

There are also more steamed items available at the Tanjong Pagar outlet from the Steam OnStick Series. Some of the items include Chicken & Seafood Siew Mai ($1.90 for two), Har Gao ($1.90 for two), and Chives Dumplings ($1.90 for two). Additionally, do note these items are only available at the Tanjong Pagar outlet.

For those who are dining in and want a more substantial meal, why not try the crowd-favourite Blue Pea Nasi Lemak ($8.50 +). Additionally, you can also opt for the Flower Bread Curry Chicken ($11.90 +) if you’re craving for some good ol’ curry chicken.
