Le Bliss Kitchen was opened as recently as last weekend, despite that, their food and service display what seems to be years in the industry! The restaurant itself has a chill yet trendy vibe. They have black hardwood tables, comfy black chairs, and even the utensils are black! As a whole, it has a sort of Yin and Yang themed decor that is pleasant to the eye and an overall relaxing experience. Also, the music choices are perfect! We found ourselves singing along to the songs whilst waiting for our meal, which took no time at all!

According to the owner, some of the decor (do check with them) is for sale! If you enjoy the design as much as we do, you can ask if you can take a souvenir or two! The shrubbery also adds an air of calm and serenity throughout the restaurant. If you want a relaxing lunch or a calm dinner to end your day, Le Bliss Kitchen has you sorted!

Scrumptious Western Fusion Dishes

Let’s start with the starter! In Singapore, fresh oysters aren’t exactly easy to come by. High-quality oysters are much rarer! But, Le Bliss has some of the finest oysters in town. Their Japanese Oysters ($32.00 for 6 pcs) are amazingly fresh! It has a creamy texture with just a hint of ocean brininess. The flavour is clean and with the added chilli, this dish is the perfect palate cleanser!

We suggest trying the Oysters on their own to fully enjoy their pure flavour. Afterwards, try it with just the lemon- it helps cut through the richness. Once you’ve tried the lemon, you can try their Soy Ginger Chilli sauce to give it a little kick! Lastly, have the full experience by adding all the components at once!

Their Cream Aglio Fettuccine ($22.00) features juicy Tiger Prawns, crispy kale, sweet cherry tomatoes and an amazing garlic cream sauce! This dish is surprisingly balanced. The noodles are perfectly cooked and Al Dente, allowing the garlic-y sauce to cling onto it. The prawns are sweet and succulent, lending a meaty aspect to this dish. The kale and cherry tomato add a bit of levity and balance, rounding out the dish as a whole!

This dish overall is excellent! Most Fettuccine you may find to be unbearably rich. Either it is too garlic-y, too creamy or just lacks flavour entirely. But this dish is beyond delicious! A medley of sweet, savoury- rich and light flavours, their Cream Aglio Fettuccine is a must-try.

And last but certainly not least, is their Asian Sea Bass En Papillote ($25.00). This wild Sea Bass was wrapped in parchment paper with lemongrass, peppers, shallots garlic and sesame rice. It is then steamed to slowly meld those flavours together! Afterwards, they finish the dish by baking it shortly to let the fish cook through. It is then served with a side of their signature Sambal Kicap.

If you want a healthy- yet delicious meal, this is the dish for you! The dish itself looks rather delicate, but don’t be fooled! It is packed with flavour and the fish itself practically melts on the fork. The rice is fragrant and wields a strong Umami flavour. The best part? This giant chunk of fish has no bones! Add a little Sambal Kicap, and you have your safe tasty- yet healthy, treat!

You could also order their Wave Mojito ($10.90) and Caramel Frappe ($9.90) to wash down those amazing dishes! The Mojito is refreshing and slightly tart, whereas the Frappe is rich and creamy!
