Calling all A&W lovers! This renowned fast food joint from United States will be opening its second outlet at AMK, according to The Straits Times. First of all, after taking a 16-years break from the food scene, they are returning once again. Specifically, the second outlet will be at Ang Mo Kio will open in July 2019. Hooray!
2nd A&W Outlet Opening in July 2019
A&W returns to Singapore’s food scene by opening its very first outlet at Jewel Changi back in April 2019. Currently, news have been all around regarding their second opening. In addition, there are also some news that a third outlet may be on its way (2020) so stay tuned.
The second A&W outlet here at AMK hub will cater to more loyal patrons with figures approximately 142 diners. Meanwhile, the Changi branch houses 80 diners. Time to bring your friends, family and neighbours along for more curly-fries & root beer goodness.
Additionally, Kelvin Tan, A&W International’s director of marketing and communication who spoke to CNA, said that the subsequent outlets are intended to ease the crowd off the Jewel Changi Airport outlet. Furthermore, Tan added that he has plans to make A&W halal certified thus his plans to submit its application for halal-certification to the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (MUIS).
