Tan Xiang Yuan pays homage to Chef Cao Yong’s Cantonese-Chinese roots, showcasing traditional flavours with a modern flair in dishes like the Signature Seafood Pot, Peking Duck, and Angelica Black Pepper Crab.

New Exciting Additions Not To Be Missed

1. Lo Han Pork Stomach ($16)

A delectable dish worth trying, featuring a whole pork stomach filled with braised pork trotter. Inspired by pork trotter jelly but tailored for modern tastes, each serving is meticulously cooked for hours to achieve unparalleled tenderness. Enhancing its flavour, it is served with a housemade garlic chili sauce, adding a spicy kick to the dish.

2. Soup-Filled Foie Gras Shrimp Ball ($12/piece)

For those who love prawns, this is a true delight, golden crispy balls bursting with flavour with each bite. Minced prawn combined with a soup stock made from pig skin, pork knuckle, and foie gras. The mixture is shaped into a ball, coated with bread cubes, and fried to a satisfying crunch.

3. Golden Garlic Steam Lobster with Yam Cake (seasonal price)

The King of Crustaceans is honoured with entire Australian lobsters lending their flavour to a special local yam cake handmade by the chef. To add depth and richness, the dish is generously topped with Chinese waxed sausage, offering satiation and satisfaction.

4. Nanjing Salted Duck ($20)

A refreshing cold appetiser featuring duck that undergoes thorough marination with Sichuan peppercorn, spices, and salt, followed by air-drying in a temperature-regulated fridge for a minimum of 36 hours. The duck is then delicately cooked with salt and pepper water to enhance its natural flavours, chilled to preserve its juiciness, and served cold to best enjoy its taste and texture.
