Kebabs are a quintessential dish in Turkish Cuisine and the Beef Kebab Wrap ($11) is definitely one worth giving a try. The wrap is stuffed with roasted beef and an array of vegetables including lettuce, tomatoes, and olives. The beef is pretty tender but slightly heavy on the beefy flavour that some might find a bit too overwhelming.

The vegetables add a pleasant contrast of textures, with a layer of tomato-based sauce giving the wrap a delightful tanginess. A little more spice would have helped tie the flavours together as well as mask the beefiness but nonetheless, it’s still one pretty tasty dish.

If you’re looking for something different from your usual economical rice or nasi lemak, the Chicken Butter Rice ($11) is the perfect go-to. The dish is served with a monstrous portion of roasted chicken, butter rice, and a salad to make it one well-balanced and tasty dish. The butter rice is seriously flavourful and has a pleasant fluffiness to it. As for the chicken, it is incredibly juicy and flavourful, with a slight zestiness to lift the flavours.

The salad, consisting of lettuce, tomatoes, onions and olives is drizzled with balsamic vinaigrette for a touch of acidity. Served alongside the dish are a tartar sauce and a homemade chilli sauce that gives a good kick while delivering notes of sour plum powder as well. Be sure to have a bite of everything together for a heavenly medley of flavours and textures.
