Tucked away at Blk 94, Lorong 4 of Toa Payoh lies this popular spot that has been garnering a huge cult following since it opened. The laksa gravy is kept warm, leaving only the cooking of ingredients to be prepared when you order which helps the lines move rather quickly. Their menu is concise, only serving up Laksa at prices of $4.80 and $5.80. We recommend the $5.80 portion for a more substantial serving of ingredients.

The Laksa ($5.80) is served with noodles, four decent-sized prawns, taupok, cockles, fishcake, and an egg, with a generous serving of their delicious gravy. Creamy and slightly thick, an incredible burst of coconut milk hits your tastebuds with each sip. As hae bi is added to the gravy, it gives the Laksa more depth, with a layer of umami that blends well with the rich coconut gravy.

Mix the sambal well for a pleasant kick of spice that builds and lingers, leaving you wanting more! Fret not as the sambal is on the milder side, making it tolerable for most.

What makes this spot stand out are their cockles as well. They definitely do not skimp out on the portion here, with each bite having at least one cockle to enjoy with. Not only are they clean tasting, but are plump and juicy as well, making it worth your buck.

The taupok absorbs the gravy well, bursting with flavour as you bite into it. Additionally, the prawns have a good bite and are not too rubbery.
