Starbucks S’pore Releases NEW Milo Gao Cheesecake, Sambal Chicken Pie, Kueh Salat Cheesecake & More!

Have you ever wondered what Starbucks could do with local recipes? Well, now’s your chance to find out! Starbucks Singapore has released all-new locally inspired treats for July, all of which are available now! You get to taste local flavours with a twist! Hurry and have a taste of these new treats!

With new items come great flavours! These treats are not only inspired by local desserts and flavours but also by different styles as well! If you want a different take on said local flavours, you must try these new treats! These items are available for a limited time, we suggest getting some today!

Chilli Meatless Crab Pie

This pastry features a meatless chilli crab, a buttery and flaky crust and is topped with sharp cheese! This treat is very much inspired by Singapore Chilli Crab- but without the crab meat! Also, the pie is completely plant-based for our Vegetarian friends or for those who are allergic to seafood!

Starbucks Sambal Chicken Pie

A twist on your classic Chicken Pot Pie, this Sambal Chicken Pie takes the classic pot pie- combines it with Chicken Sambal, to create this beautiful concoction! Also, it is definitely reminiscent of Epok-Epok! However, the red colour is not an indicator of the spice level!

Kopi Siew Dai (Less Sweet) Cheesecake

If you frequent your local Kopitiam or any local hawker, you are probably ordering your Coffee “Siew Dai”. This essentially means less sweet. Which, funny enough, is how most cheesecakes are made! Although coffee cheesecake is nothing new, this take on it makes it very Singaporean!

Kueh Salat Cheesecake

Now, this is something completely out of the box! In addition to the colour, this treat is reminiscent of your classic Kueh Salat. Featuring a coconut and Pandan flavour, with a hint of cheesiness- this is definitely a must-try!

Every Singaporean has at least had a cup of Milo. With condensed milk of course! Now, imagine that flavour in a cheesecake! The sweet, malty taste of Milo combined with the creamy and rich texture of cheesecake is bound to leave you speechless!

Black Sesame Peanut Cake

Last but certainly not least, the Black Sesame Peanut Cake! It features a fluffy black sesame sponge with a peanut and black sesame buttercream! Also, it is topped with roasted chopped peanuts. This dessert is a texture sensation. The fluffy sesame sponge and the crunchy peanuts laced throughout the cake makes this dessert the definition of a ‘treat’!
