44 Singapore Landmarks Lit Up In Blue In Conjunction With World Water Day 2021

If you’ve been out and about over the weekend, then you probably have noticed that several landmarks across Singapore were all lit up in blue. Curious why? This is in conjunction with World Water Day 2021.

S’pore Landmarks Lit Up In Blue To Commemorate World Water Day 2021

World Water Day is held annually on March 22. It is a day of reminder that water, being a critical resource, should be cherished and protected. To commemorate this day, a total of 44 major Singapore landmarks were lit up in blue starting from last Saturday until the 22nd of March.

The landmarks bathed in blue hues are Marina Bay Sands, Gardens by the Bay, Singapore Art Museum, Art Science Museum, Singapore Flyer, and many more. In fact, even One Raffles Place in the CBD area took place in the national water agency PUB’s City Turns Blue initiative.

As compared to last year, there are new landmarks taking part in this initiative for the first time including Singapore Sports Hub, Wisma Atria, Mount Faber and One Marina Boulevard.

A Stunning View To Behold In Singapore
