Not long ago, it was announced that cruise to nowhere gave the green light by Singapore Tourism Board. This time around, be prepared to indulge in some authentic dim sum!
Singapore – Hong Kong Air Travel Bubble
On 11th November, Ong Ye Kung, Transport Minister, mentioned in a media conference that Singapore and Hong Kong will start their air travel bubble between both places. This will begin on 22nd November 2020. The travel bubble allows traveling between two cities with the exemption of quarantine or Stay-Home Notice (SHN). During this time, there will be no restrictions on travel.
The flight will carry a maximum of 200 passengers per way by Singapore Airlines and Cathay Pacific. Additionally, the flights will be gradually increased from 7th December onwards. When in Singapore, there will be no stay-home notices and no limits on movements for travelers using this arrangement. However, visitors are required to install the Trace Together App.
Starting From 22nd November 2020 Onwards
As stated by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore, Hong Kong has a low incidence of Covid-19. Despite the low numbers, safety measurements will be taken as all travelers are required to be tested 72 hours before departure. So, are you excited that things are slowly opening up?
