For the Shi Quan Duck, the meat is tender, juicy, and full of flavour! As there isn’t much gaminess to the meat, it makes it really palatable as well. As for the sauce, it is incredibly sweet and herbally, with a prominent sourness that’s reminiscent of sour plum powder. The sauce is so tasty, you can even have it as a soup! The dish is made with their grandmother’s recipe, bringing back a taste of home with a harmonious blend of flavours that simply leaves you wanting more! Considering you can only find this dish at restaurants, and for the quality you’re getting here, Ding Jian’s is definitely a must-try!

Moving on to one of their signatures, the Dang Gui Duck uses Dang Gui, the Angelica herb, known for enriching the blood, promoting blood circulation, and improving immunity and digestion! The duck is prepared for eight hours, giving you an amazing balance of herbal-ness and sweetness, with it having a pleasantly sweet aftertaste! For those who enjoy herbal flavours, however, the Shi Quan Duck would be the recommended choice as it has more herbal- ness to it.
