RedMart Will Limit Orders To Essentials Only Due To Surge In Online Grocery Orders Amid Covid-19 Concerns
Amid growing concerns over the Covid-19 pandemic, many people are stocking up and online grocery platforms such as RedMart is experiencing a surge in demands. In light of that, the company will be suspending orders for the time being. But, fret not, you can still shop on RedMart but there will only be a selected range of goods for you to purchase from.
In addition to the suspension, RedMart is also temporarily reducing their range of products to essential items only. Customers can still buy essentials such as rice, flour, and eggs. This move was made in order to ensure that delivery slots remain available and so that customers can receive their essentials in a timely manner. Besides that, orders are limited to 35 items (maximum) and shall not exceed 100 kilograms. Customers should also note that all deliveries will be left at their doorstep to minimise physical contact between persons.
