Good news Korio lovers! The popular sandwich shop has made a surprise return with a pop-up at Zouk this May featuring a limited-time-only menu from now till June 8.
Korio Opens Pop-Up At Zouk Till June 8
In partnership with Zouk Group’s Chief Culinary Officer, Chef Lorenz Hoja, Korio will be taking over Here Kitty Kitty to serve a specially crafted menu featuring sandwich starters, hot main dishes, and enticing desserts by Chef Lorenz.
The Korio K-omeback starts with sandwiches like the Nordic Craze ($17) featuring salmon confit nestled between baguette slices, complemented by the indulgent flavours of quail egg, creamy cheese, ikura, and marinated onions. The Italian Job ($17) harmonizes the best of Italian flavours – burrata, zucchini, Parmesan, tomato confit, and fresh arugula, all generously packed into a fluffy focaccia.
Indulge in heartier portions like the Get Shorty ($25), a braised beef short rib bagel adorned with roasted onions and gratinated provolone, topped off with a zesty horseradish cream and tangy pickled cucumber.
Equally tantalizing is the “Jon Bánh Jo Mi” ($25), showcasing thick barramundi nuggets, pickled veggies, XO mayo, and house sriracha.
Conclude your dining experience on a delightful note with their Happy Endings, drawing inspiration from local flavours. Savour the “Green Magic” ($8.50), crafted with pandan chantilly, coconut glaze, and topped with roasted coconut flakes.
For chocolate lovers, indulge in the “Chocolate OD” ($8.50), featuring decadent chocolate chantilly, luscious chocolate glaze, and crowned with a kumquat.
For cocktails, the Hail Mary offers a refreshing blend of Bianco tequila, watermelon celery shrub, and tomato water, elevated with a hint of lemon and soda water. Alternatively, for those with a taste for indulgence, the Coco Cabana tantalizes the palate with a combination of pineapple rum, espresso, and coconut water.
Enjoy these offerings ala carte or as a set. The Three-Course Set ($45) comprises a starter, filler, and happy ending while the Two-Course Set ($31) features a filler and set.
Do note the pop-up operates on selected days of the week for a limited period each day.
