Good news! Popular Hong Kong bakery Hang Heung will be opening its fourth outlet at AMK Hub in December! The newest outlet will be at level one of the mall where Pine Garden used to be. With over three outlets islandwide, the brand has been a hit among many Singaporeans with its traditional baked goods.
4th Outlet At AMK Hub
Hang Heung Bakery was founded in the 1920s and began as a humble bakery in Yuen Long serving up freshly baked Chinese pastries. Known for their “Wife Cakes” 老婆饼, it is regarded as Hong Kong’s most popular traditional specialty. With over a 100-year-old heritage, the brand has continued to be a household name in Hong Kong. They have even been featured across various local and international media, especially those Hong Kong’s TVB dramas.
In 2019, Hang Heung was awarded the esteemed title of a Centurion brand by The Hong Kong Food Council. This was in recognition of its efforts to preserve the heritage and craft of traditional Chinese delights and bakes. The brand has clearly made a reputation for itself!

Hang Heung Bakery currently has three outlets islandwide at ION Orchard, Paragon, and Raffles City.
In the meantime, you can visit those outlets to purchase some delicious baked goods such as:
- Wife Cake ($16.80 for six pieces)
- Country Egg Rolls ($22.80 for a tin of 21 pieces)
- Lava Custard Cake ($21 for six pieces)
- Traditional snacks such as almond crisps, palmiers, and peanut candy ($9 per jar/box)
