Starbucks never fails to delight us with their new creations, whether they’re new macchiatos or frappucinos – or cakes. This time, they’re back at it again with some locally-inspired cakes and pastries, and we’re incredibly excited!

Milo Dinosaur Cake

Who remembers begging their parents to order Milo Dinosaur for them as a child? We certainly do! There’s something impossibly decadent and satisfying about eating a spoonful of Milo powder under your parents’ judgemental gaze.

If you want to relive that experience, you can now order the Milo Dinosaur Cake – chocolate sponge cake layered with creamy vanilla and chocolate mousse, and, of course, topped with a small mountain of Milo powder.

Brown Sugar Boba Gem Cake

Would you look at that – a bigger version of our favourite iced gem biscuits! But this isn’t just any iced gem biscuit cake, it’s a brown sugar boba iced gem cake. There are chewy, delicious pearls on the inside, and the “iced gem” bit of the cake is rich buttercream.

Doesn’t that look good?

Ondeh Ondeh Mousse Cake

It looks like an ondeh ondeh, but this delectable dessert is actually made of pandan cake instead of glutinous rice mochi! And it’s filled with syrupy gula melaka coconut – perfect for a teatime sugar fix.

Black Pepper Chicken Pie

This pastry is a tangy twist on your typical chicken pie. Filled with chicken chunks and bell peppers in beef gravy and yes, cooked with black pepper, this menu item is best eaten hot, and definitely something you don’t want to miss.

Doesn’t that picture just make your mouth water?
