My fellow citizens, we come bearing fantastic news! As you well know, for the past two years, we haven’t gotten a proper National Day Parade. Things are about to change! As of today until June 20, you can ballot for your tickets for NDP 2022! The NDP Previews begin on July 23 and 30 and the actual parade will take place on August 9! The parade will be at the floating platform at Marina Bay. Get your tickets today!
NDP Returns After 2 Years
National Day Parade has been a huge event for Singaporeans for several decades, originating in 1966. For the most part, we haven’t missed a single one apart from the last two years. This is why this National Day Parade is going to be huge! However, do remember that safety measures are to ensure everyone is completely Covid-free! We also hope that everyone will maintain a responsible attitude to ensure everyone gets to have fun without any risks!
Those who wish to attend this event must be fully vaccinated or be certified to be medically ineligible for all vaccines. However, children under the age of 12 who are not vaccinated are allowed to attend the event. Aside from the parade, Singaporeans can look forward to carnivals, exhibitions and fireworks! The event will have five locations. Also, you can ballot for your tickets at the NDP website here.
Other Important Information
Each person can only ballot for two to six tickets for one of three shows- also, severe actions against any individual that sells tickets separately. According to the organisers, the venue’s capacity is around 25,000 to 26,000. They expect to fill the seats by the end of June! They plan on making this NDP a big one, so get excited!
