1. Kanada-Ya – Famous Ramen Restaurant
Kanada-Ya is an award-winning ramen joint all the way from London! It has 4 other outlets in London, Barcelona, Hong Kong and Japan. However, it has finally made its way to Singapore this December! If you decide to pay a visit, you have to try their Kotteri Tonkotsu Ramen.

2. Seoulid Korean BBQ
We have good news for people who are often torn between having Mookata and Korean BBQ. Seoulid Korean BBQ has a unique pan where you can get the best of both worlds! They have a large variety of ingredients and toppings available, so you won’t run out of options!

3. Bacha Coffee
Bacha Coffee is a new and unique Moroccan-themed cafe in Singapore! Conveniently located at ION Orchard, this is the perfect place to hold your tea time sessions with friends and colleagues. They also have a wide selection of pastries and more than 30 different types of coffee!

4. Two Cranes
Two Cranes is a Korean-inspired cafe located in Hougang! Apparently, cranes are viewed as symbols of good fortune and longevity in Korean culture. Their menu features mainly Korean food, but interestingly, they also have Pulut Hitam Bingsu!

5. Banh You, Banh Mi
Banh Mi is a popular Vietnamese snack/meal! However, what makes Banh You, Banh Mi (BYBM) so special is that instead of pork, they use beef! BYBM is Halal-certified, so our Muslim friends can also enjoy! We recommend their best-selling Butter Chicken Banh Mi to try out for starters!

6. Croquant Chou ZakuZaku
Finally, it’s time for some dessert. Croquant Chou Zaku Zaku is a sister brand of BAKE, and will be taking over its spot at ION Orchard! Zakuzaku, is a Japanese stick cream puff! You can think of it churros with a creamy filling! Each hefty stick is priced at only $2.80!

7. MAO Milk Bar – Durian Pearls In Bubble Tea
Alright, we’ve established that almost everyone in Singapore loves bubble tea. While brown sugar bubble tea has been all the rave lately, MAO Milk Bar offers milk tea with Durian Pearls! Despite being located in a local Polytechnic, members of the public are welcome to visit as well!

8. Kenny Rogers Roasters
Kenny Rogers Roasters has reopened and rebranded itself as a fast-casual Halal restaurant. If you were a fan of their classics such their corn muffins, rotisserie chicken, baby back ribs, and macaroni & cheese, rest assured. They are bringing back the popular items from their old menu!

9. Gyumaru
Gyumaru is currently on pending approval to be officially Halal-certified. Instead of the typical pork and chicken bone broth, their soup is beef based! If you’re a fan of ramen, you should definitely add this place to your list of restaurants to visit!

10. PS Cafe’s New Outlet @ East Coast Park
PS Cafe is no stranger to frequent cafe hoppers. If you see your friends post pictures online about truffle fries, it’s probably from here! PS Cafe By The Sea is its 8th outlet in Singapore, and what makes this so special is that they are serving new seafood dishes such as calamari stew, crab laksa, and more!

11. Downstairs – Void Deck-Themed Cafe
Downstairs is a cafe inspired by HDB void decks. And of course, they mainly serve iconic local food but with a modern twist! We highly recommend that you try their Rice with Honey Glazed BBQ Pork and Lava Egg ($6). With every meal, you only need to top up $1 to get a drink!

12. Tiger Sugar Desserts
Tiger Sugar is known for their brown sugar drinks, but soon, Tiger Sugar Desserts will be opening in Singapore! This would be their very first outlet in the entire southeast Asia region. The official opening date has yet to be released, but are said to open early December 2019.
