Geylang Serai Ramadan Is Canceled For Two Years In A Row Due To Covid-19

There were many events that were canceled in 2020 due to Covid-19. One of the most highly anticipated events in Singapore, Geylang Serai Ramadan, will be canceled for the second year in a row in 2021.

Just in case you have forgotten about Geylang Serai Ramadan, the annual is well-loved by many Singaporeans for its great food offerings. It is the place to be to find cheap treats and one of a kind dishes.

As reported by Berita Harian, the organizer of Geylang Serai Ramadan added, ‘With the everchanging Covid-19 situation, the bazaar and physical business exhibitions that would typically attract a lot of people will not continue.

For the safety and wellbeing of all residents, the Geylang Serai Ramadan Bazaar that is organised by WGS will be available online this year through a new digital platform’.

However, there is no news regarding the new digital platform, but we will keep you up to date!
