Eng Kee Bak Kut Teh has been situated at Teck Ghee Court Market & Food Centre for many years and continues to build a loyal fan base to this day. Adding in their new customers with their loyal regulars, it’s no surprise to find snaking long queues at their stall daily.
Besides their braised pig trotters, Eng Kee is also popular for their bak kut teh. However, according to most customers, their pig trotters are definitely the dish to look out for. The Pig Trotters ($7.50) are incredibly tender, with a good balance of lean meat and fatty collagen skin that is simply to die for. The meat soaks up the rich gravy, giving an amazing burst of flavour and simply melts in your mouth. Additionally, the gravy is well-balanced and not too salty, making it the perfect pairing with a bowl of rice.

One reviewer suggested heading down after 11am as the meat will be marinating in the sauce longer, making it more tender and flavourful. If it is before 11am, the strong depth of flavour and tenderness might not have been achieved yet.
