Emina Abdullah, the owner of Eminami Stall at Old Airport Road, is a kind soul who cares deeply for the food she serves. She serves quality and traditional Vietnamese dishes without using any MSG! Not only are her dishes delicious, but it is also a healthy option as well. She was extremely welcoming and wholesome, raving about how good her food was. And she wasn’t lying. She has four items on her menu, but the Pho is the most iconic. During lunchtime, you’ll see a line of people queuing to get a taste of this amazing dish. The Pho Bo ($6.00) is their signature dish for a reason. The broth is cooked using beef bones, fragrant herbs and spices. The flavour of the beef is completely infused into the broth. It is rich and warm, perfect for a cold, rainy day! There are also generous amounts of beef, tender meatballs and topped with Calamansi to balance the dish. We recommend you taste the soup before adding anything else, as is the rule for eating a bowl of Pho!

Another iconic item on Eminami’s menu has to be the Banh Mi ($5.00). This dish features a homemade bread roll, perfectly crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. It also carries the saucy meat and pickled veggies on the inside nicely. You have a choice between beef and chicken. Either way, you can’t go wrong! The sauce is sweet and slightly tangy. The pickled veggies are refreshing and tart- balancing this dish. Even the bread is awesome! The crunchy exterior adds more texture, making each bite better than the next.
