We all know Chee Cheong Fun. Made with rice noodles, it is commonly drenched in a mixture of soy sauce and sweet sauce before it is served. Easy to eat, it works really well as a light meal. Looking for something similar, but different? Here’s what you will need to try.
Chee Cheong Fun Drenched In Curry
One of the hawkers located in Maxwell Food Centre, Chee Cheong Fun Club, makes their Chee Cheong Fun with a little fun twist. As the owner is from neighbouring country, Malaysia, she has brought Kuala Lumpur’s signature Chee Cheong Fun to Singapore.
Hard to find in Singapore, Curry Chee Cheong Fun consists of rice noodles, assorted fish balls, and curry. At Chee Cheong Fun Club, the curry is a must-try. Although the recipe for making the curry is a secret, you can tell that it is made with fresh coconut milk!
Apart from the decadent curry, Chee Cheong Fun Club is also widely known for its silky smooth Chee Cheong Fun. Priced at $4, be sure to try it out. Aside from this signature dish, you will be glad to know normal Chee Cheong Fun is also available here.
