Although the Chicken Cutlet Curry Noodles ($5) is their signature, the stall also draws crowds for their other tasty dishes like Char Siew Wanton Noodles ($4), Laksa Yong Tau Foo ($4.50), Fried Chicken Cutlet with Noodles/Rice ($5), Shredded Chicken Hor Fun ($4), and Chicken Feet Noodles ($4).

Customers also have the option of adding-on ingredients to their dishes like the Fried Chicken Cutlet ($2/$6), Char Siew ($2), Fried Wanton (5pcs for $1.50), and Yong Tau Foo ($0.60 per pc).

The Chicken Cutlet Curry Noodles ($5) are served with springy egg noodles that absorb the gravy beautifully, giving each bite a burst of curry goodness. For those that can’t handle their spice, fret not as there is hardly any heat in this dish.

The curry is rich and flavourful, with the coconut milk shining through, making it really lemak. The curry is however thinner than expected despite the use of coconut milk.

The cutlet is crispy and succulent, with its flavour reminiscent of har cheong gai, which is an absolute win in our books! Do however eat it fast as it gets soggy after soaking in the curry for a while.

As the curry is somewhat one-dimensional, we recommend adding some pork lard and sambal chilli to give the dish a much-needed oomph. The sambal adds layers of sweetness, savouriness, and spice while the pork lard adds umami and crunch. A bowl of peppery soup is served alongside to help wash down the richness of the dish.
