Their Nasi Ayam Bakar ($5.00) is an absolute treat. It has many different components working in tandem to give you an amazing flavour experience! While the chicken is amazing, however, the Sambal should not be overlooked! It is tangy, deep and extremely spicy so do get yourself a drink before eating this dish! The soup is a fantastic addition as well.

Now for the star of the show, their famous Ayam Bakar! The chicken is first braised in a savoury broth with spices and turmeric- giving the protein a slightly yellow exterior. Once cooked through, they then char the meat on a searing hot grill to give it a crisp skin and smoky flavour. Once completed, the meat becomes so tender you could pull it apart with a spoon!

All together with each component, this dish becomes a blend of sweet, savoury, sour and succulent! Also, most Nasi Ayam Bakar uses regular rice but, at Ayam Bakar Changi Village, they use Chicken Rice (rice cooked in chicken broth). This gives the dish even more depth! Overall, it is a balanced dish that is filled with flavour!
