1. Gram Cafe

Gram Cafe was possibly one of the most well-received cafe openings in 2019. Hailing all the way from Japan, Gram Cafe is famous for jiggly souffle pancakes. Another outlet will be opening at Punggol Waterway Point on 12th July. To celebrate its grand opening, it will be collaborating with Hershey’s for Premium Chocolate Lava Pancakes. It is only available at this outlet!

2. SYIP

SYIP (pronounced as sip) is a new minimalist cafe at Owen Road. The calming interior will certainly brighten up one’s mood. As suggested by the name, SYIP has a good selection of coffee, matcha, and even strawberry beverages. It has brunch offerings such as Steak on Eggs, Mentaiko Chicken, Ikaru Kombu Capellini. and other palatable choices.

We are not sure if this can be considered as a cafe, but we know that it is pretty stunning. Joji’s Diner will transport you back to the late 90s with checkered floorings, seating booths, jukeboxes, and more! Right here, you will be able to feast on dishes similar to American diners. Grilled cheese, waffles and ice cream, milkshakes, you name it, they probably have it!

4. Tigerlily Patisserie

Tigerlily Patisserie has a new concept cafe located in Joo Chiat. With splashes of warm yellow and green, this new spot has a botanical-themed interior. The interior complements the vegetables and herbs-infused menu. A must-try here is none other than the Beehive. With a beehive structure, the dessert is made out of lemon thyme and litchi honey jelly, and honey parfait. Honey, we’re home.

If you love Japanese treats, Cafe Kuriko is another one to add to your list. Located inside Funan Mall, Cafe Kuriko specialises in Japanese mont blanc desserts cha-nabe, fruit tarts, and cakes. Cafe Furiko’s Purple Sweet Potato Mont Blanc Parfait certainly looks dazzling with vanilla ice cream and kinako cake packed inside. Of course, you can get your matcha fix right here, too.

You draw a line in the middle and split the interior into halves. ‘Very cool’ doesn’t begin to describe Coexist Coffee Co., not only the interior is split into halves, it is located on top of an industrial building. It is the perfect place to sip some coffee, nibble some brunch, and watch the world outside through its windows.

Recently opened near Lavender, Lola Faye Cafe has a tropical interior with wallpapers of giant leaves tastefully plastered onto the walls. Simple and comfortable, it is the perfect place to indulge in waffles, gelatos, frappes, brownies, and more. Famous for all things gelato, Sweet Cheeks has opened up its third outlet. You can now find Sweet Cheeks in Tai Thong Crescent, Ang Mo Kio Ave, and Tyrwhitt Road. Located opposite Chye Seng Huat Hardware, the new outlet boasts a minimal interior. Right here, you will be able to indulge in Honey Chrysanthemum with Cacao Nibs, Balsamic Strawberry with Chia, Hazelnut with Nutella Swirl, and many more!
