So, for those who are curious about the existence of this carnival, we’re here to tell you that it’s real. What’s more, during this carnival, the participating eateries will be offering their food at only $1! Now that’s a food carnival none of us should miss out on.
In addition, this food carnival will leave you spoiled for choice as there are plenty of eats to pick ranging from signature hawker dishes such as Chicken Rice, Roti Prata to Ling Fang Congee’s silky smooth Pork Congee. Â Also, if you think these fares ain’t your cup of tea, of course there are plenty of other fares to choose from. Just head over to Yishun Park Hawker Centre and your tummies will thank you for making that trip.
However, since this Yishun Park Hawker Centre $1 Carnival is one that’s not to be missed, each customer will be limited to only (2) portions of $1 dish each time they join the queue at a participating stall.
1000 kgs of Durians at $1
As part of the carnival, Yishun Park Hawker Centre is also offering 1000kg of durians (Mao Shan Wang, D13, D24 and Red Prawn) at just $1 each.
So, durian lovers, you definitely do not want to miss out on this. The number of durians you can redeem is based on the number of $1 food/drinks item on the receipt from the participating hawker stalls. All you have to do is just
to present the receipt(s) at the 3 designated durian stalls to purchase durians at just $1 each. Simple, right?
Entertaining Activities for Everyone
In addition, this carnival is also catered to families since there will be activities such as kids craft, face painting, $1 bouncy castle as well as $1 Weekend Bazaar. There’s more! One of the highlight activities during this carnival is the transformation of an actual hawker stall into a photo-booth whereby you can dress up as a hawker and have a photo opportunity.
