Hello, friends! With the recent global pandemic, it is now more important than ever to give a lending hand to one and another. One of the biggest soup kitchen in Singapore, Willing Hearts, has been working hard to produce more than 9,000 meals per day during the global pandemic, an increase from the previous number of 6,500. With the increase in the number of meals per day, it needs your help to relocate to a bigger operating site!
Seeking For Donations For Relocation To Bigger Space
Established in 2003, Willing Hearts is helping elderlies, people with disabilities, low-income families, and also migrant workers. Recently, the soup kitchen had posted on Facebook regarding its relocation plan. The post mentioned that it is close to securing a location at Lorong J Teruk Kurau after two years of planning. Apart from securing the location, the donations will be used for renovation purposes as this spot has been vacant for years.
With the relocation, Willing Hearts aim to serve more people, provide people with their choices of meals, provide shelter for the homeless, facilitate training for marginalized people, and extend additional services such as dental care. Some of the training that will be provided for marginalised people include culinary, baking, cooking, hairdressing, and flower arrangements.
Donations Can Be Made Through QR Scan & More
If you are planning to help out Willing Hearts to help others, there are many ways that you can donate to the soup kitchen. Some of the methods include cheque, Paynow, Internet Transfer, and or QR Code. It’s so easy, you can just scan and donate directly.
