Run by a husband-and-wife duo, the stall offers a wide array of signature dishes like Dumpling Noodles, Mushroom Noodles, and Shredded Chicken Hor Fun. However, it is definitely their Wanton Noodles that are a crowd-favourite. Queues can start as early as 11am, with almost never-ending lines during the lunch hour. A true testament to Wah Kee’s immense popularity.

The Wanton Noodles ($4.50) might look pretty plain and unassuming, but don’t let its looks fool you. The noodles are springy and incredibly flavourful, with a good kick of spice. Additionally, there is none of that alkaline noodle taste, something most of us would certainly appreciate.

As the char siew is already sliced up and left out, expectations for it are probably pretty low. Well, in fact, the char siew is seriously delicious. It is tender and succulent, with a beautiful ratio of fat to lean meat. On top of that, some slices even have charred ends, giving them an amazing crispiness with the perfect blend of smokiness and sweetness.

Lastly, the wantons have a good amount of filling and are well-seasoned with a nice bite to them. As for the soup, it is light and flavourful, with each sip giving pleasant hints of pork.

Overall, it’s no surprise to see why Wah Kee is such a hit among customers and it is a spot all you wanton noodle lovers must definitely check out. Hurry down today!
