For those who have been to Takashimaya’s Food Hall, the selection of Japanese food and small bites is endless. Adding to the list of must-try food is none other than Press Butter Sand, Tokyo’s Station’s famous sandwich cookie brand. Opening its first Singapore outlet on Dec 8, fans can now enjoy a taste right on our shores.
Press Butter Sand Opening On Dec 8
For those who are unfamiliar with Press Butter Sand, their sandwich cookies feature two square biscuits baked with iron griddles containing Hokkaido buttercream and various fillings.
A box of five is priced at $22.50, with only three flavours available out of the seven that Press Butter Sand offers in Japan.
The three flavours are:
- Original
- Uji Matcha
- Chocolate
All of the cookies are imported directly from Japan.
The Original is made with a buttery cookie sandwiched with Hokkaido cream filling and caramel. The Uji Matcha features Hokkaido buttercream laced with uji matcha while the Chocolate offers the perfect pairing of their cocoa biscuit, chocolate caramel, and Hokkaido buttercream.
