Ann Chin Popiah: Founded In 1958 & Serving Handmade Popiah Ever Since
Ann Chin Popiah is definitely most known for their handmade popiah but they serve a variety of other food too. You can find Kueh Pie Tee, Yam Roll, Spring Roll and more here. The ingredients that go into the popiah are all prepared and cooked fresh daily. In addition, the sauces inside in the popiah are also made in house!
Handmade Popiah
Freshly made-to-order, we especially love how Ann Chin Popiah only uses the freshest ingredients to make their delectable popiah. Their popiah consists of homemade sweet sauce & chilli, fresh lettuce, beansprouts, crushed peanuts, fried crispy bits, hard-boiled egg, and of course – their homemade turnip popiah filling. Plus, their popiah skin is handmade daily too!
Perfectly Rolled & Made To Enjoy (Popiah Party Sets Are Available To Order)
You surely won’t be disappointed when you try Ann Chin Popiah because plenty of locals love it and always go back for more! The popiah skin is delicate and it tastes so yummy. One (1) roll of popiah is priced at S$1.80 each.
You can also get their Popiah Party Set: 10 rolls for S$25 (suitable for 3-4 pax) or 18 rolls for S$35 (suitable for 6 pax). It comes with all the ingredients and instructions needed to wrap your own popiah at home or for a party!
Must-Try Item: Kueh Pie Tee
Crispy, addictive, delicious – that’s how we’ll describe their Kueh Pie Tee. The shell is very crispy and it’s fried daily. You can also count on Ann Chin Popiah to fill their Pie Tee shell to the brim so one bite is certainly packed with flavour!
Kueh Pie Tee Party Sets Are Available Too!
The Kueh Pie Tee comes with fried flour, homemade turnip popiah filling, hard-boiled egg and some chilli. It is priced at S$3.50 for four (4) pieces. Customers can also get their Kueh Pie Tee Party Set: 50 cups for S$45 or 30 Cups for S$30.
They Also Sell Yam Cake (Steamed or Fried) & Chee Cheong Fun At Other Outlets
Aside from popiah and kueh pie tee, this place also sells yam cake and Chee Cheong Fun! Their yam cake (priced at S$1.20 per piece) is packed with bits of shrimp, loads of yam and some mushrooms too. You can order their yam cake, either steamed or fried. We also especially love that their Chee Cheong Fun (priced at S$1.70 per portion) sauce is made in-house daily!
