If you love the night market scene in Singapore, you have probably stumbled upon O.M.G. With bright yellow banners all around, it is easy to spot this place in the night market. This stall is famous for its rendition of Taiwanese sweet potato balls. If you’re a fan, you will be excited to know that it has opened a shop at Haji Lane.

Officially opened on 10th April 2021, the permanent store has a red interior and exterior. Despite the simple setting, it looks ‘gram-worthy with city life prints on the walls. For sure, it makes a good background to take photos of bouncy sweet potato balls!

How is it made? Well, it all starts with handmade sweet potato dough balls. After getting the perfect shape, it is tossed into a deep fryer. It must be continuously stirred until it is golden brown. To make it a little more interesting, some choices include a coat of condensed milk, crushed peanuts, and cheese. Yes, please!
