Mid-Autumn Festival, one of the biggest celebrations for both Chinese and Vietnamese, are months away! That’s right, it is happening on the 13th September 2019. It’s a long way to go, but it doesn’t hurt if we start preparing for the celebration. This wonderful celebration sees the full moon at night, and boundless lanterns lighting up the sky. Of course, there will be mooncakes too!
Starbucks Mooncakes Are Now Available
Announced on its official Facebook today, Starbucks mooncakes are now available in all outlets in Singapore. This year, Starbucks has some terrific flavours including all-time favourite lotus paste with salted egg yolk, coffee with caramel and hazelnut, honey earl grey, yam paste, and mango. There’s a little bit of everything and it’s going to be delightful on the tastebuds.
We’re amazed by Starbucks® Coffee with Caramel & Hazelnut. This mooncake has microground coffee infused with white lotus paste us tossed with caramel and chopped hazelnut. You’ll love it if you’re seeking for an extra crunch. Tea lover will definitely enjoy Honey Earl Grey, made with earl grey tea infused into white lotus paste, and a honey lotus paste in the center.
The mooncake box mimics the sky of Mid-Autumn Festival, with countless stars sprinkled across the entire box. In the middle, there is a perfectly shaped moon with two bunnies on top of it. The box is in nice metallic dark blue. Ah, we love the packaging so much. It is definitely perfect for knick-knacks once Mid-Autumn Festival is over!

Starbucks mooncakes are available from 22nd July onwards! The mooncakes are available in single pieces, assorted mooncake gift boxes, and traditional mooncake gift boxes. All mooncake gift boxes come with a matching gift bag and set of treat vouchers. But, if we are buying it, we are keeping it for ourselves for sure. The box is everything.
