A rather popular stall among patrons of Circuit Road Food Centre, SS Western 66 serves up a lot a lot of old-school Western dishes, macam over 20 dishes sia. Enjoy classics like the Chicken Cutlet ($6.20), Fish & Chips ($6.20), Half Spring Chicken Set ($5.70), and Sirloin Steak Set ($15), just to name a few.
They even offer dishes below five dollars like Fried Wings with Rice ($3.70), Chicken/Fish Burger Set ($3.70) and Quarter Chicken Leg Set ($4.70). Some more right, as these are western stall prices, they are considered super affordable leh. As they are a Muslim-owned stall, they also serve Nasi Ayam Penyet ($6.20).

SS Western’s best-seller is their Chicken Chop ($6.20) for one simple reason, it is seriously sedap. They marinade their ayam (chicken) until super flavourful hor and their rich mushroom sauce elevates each bite.
Some more ah, the chicken is thicc and tender, with the silky smooth skin sliding down your throat like nice nice only. Compared to other Western chicken chops, this one confirm more flavourful than most.
Even their fries good sia – crispy and fluffy in the middle with the perfect amount of seasoning. Psst, use the mushroom sauce as a dip as it makes each bite super shiok!
The baked beans are kept simple – straight from the can lol. The coleslaw though pretty average as well have a pleasant tang and crunch. Still can makan lah honestly.
A good indication of old-school western flare, a nostalgic bread roll is served alongside. As it is sadly a tad dry, dipping it into the mushroom sauce confirm helps to make it taste better.
