Guess what? Singapore finally has its very own Pocky flavours! Featuring: Kaya Toast and Kopi O Pocky! The two flavours, Kaya Toast and Kopi O are two popular local breakfast options that embody the essence of Singaporean food.
It will debut at the STREAT Festival from 12 – 13 July 2019, as part of the annual Singapore Food Festival. In a collaboration between Pocky and local breakfast chain Ya Kun, they have come up with these two ingenious Pocky flavours.
You Can Now Enjoy Kaya Toast & Kopi O Any Time Of The Day
The Kaya Toast pocky is basically breakfast in a stick! The green coating just reminds us of kaya spread and we’re expecting it to taste a lot like kaya too. Just imagine the biscuit stick to be the two slices of toast and you have yourself kaya toast in a stick!
You can still enjoy your usual kaya toast in the morning, but you can also bring a pack or two of Kaya Toast Pocky along with you throughout the day as a snack. Kaya toast all day everyday!
The other Singapore-exclusive flavour that will be first available for purchase at the STREAT Festival is Kopi O. It is also the perfect accompaniment to its Kaya Toast counterpart! We’re hoping that the bitterness of the Kopi O really shines through to pay homage to our gao gao Kopi O!
With the number of caffeine-lovers in Singapore, we’re expecting this Kopi O Pocky to be a real hit!
Each box of Kaya Toast Pocky and Kopi O pocky will retail for $2/box. Don’t worry if you’re not able to get your hands on them at the STREAT Festival. You will still be able to purchase them at almost all Ya Kun outlets after the festival ends.
S’pore Exclusive Kaya Toast & Kopi O Pocky To Be Sold At STREAT Festival 2019
This collaboration between Ya Kun and Pocky is a first for us and we’re so excited for it! Hopefully, the Kaya Toast and Kopi O Pocky will be sold in stores permanently so that we can enjoy it for a long time! What other truly-Singaporean flavours do you think should be next in line?
