When the circuit breaker hit, many of Singapore’s beloved attractions closed – but as we go into our 4th week of Phase 2, they’re all slowly reopening. Among them is our favourite Singapore Flyer. To celebrate, they’re even giving us discounts on their tickets!
Singapore Flyer Reopening
The Singapore Flyer has been given the green light to go back into business. From 23 July, we’ll be able to see the huge Ferris Wheel spinning again, and to go for rides on it once more!
If you are planning to take a ride on the Flyer, though, we suggest you go in August. (That’s when their promotion begins.) From 1 – 31 August, the Flyer’s offering rides for groups of 4 (including 1 child) for just $55! The usual prices are $33 for an adult and $21 for a child, which means the tickets are about 54% off. Totally worth it.

Operating Hours and Safety Measures
Of course, precautions have been taken to ensure a safe and smooth reopening for everyone, so here’s what you need to know.
The Flyer will be operating from Thursdays to Sundays and on public holidays, from 3pm to 9pm. All visits will of course be limited to 5 guests per group, and each capsule will now hold a maximum of 7 people. All capsules will be disinfected between groups of occupants, and your usual temperature screenings and SafeEntry check-ins will also be in place.
If you want to take a trip on the observation wheel, you have to book in advance – all ticketing counters will remain closed for the time being! You can book your tickets here.
