This Coffee Shop At Hougang Serves The Most Adorable And Scrumptious Pork Chop Bun!

Seng Huat Coffee House is conveniently located right outside Hougang MRT Station opposite Hougang Mall. A mere five minutes is all you need to get to the coffee house from the MRT. Another bonus is that the coffee house is home to other stalls with really good food as well.

Besides the pork chop bun, the coffee house also serves two other buns- Crispy Chicken Bun and Ham & Egg Bun. All the meats are cooked to order, ensuring you get them hot and fresh for ultimate enjoyment.

The Original Pork Bun ($3.80) features the cutest pig-shaped bun with a succulent pork chop that is topped with mayo and chilli, a thin layer of egg, and cheese to make one scrumptious sandwich. Just the sheer sight of it will have you salivating!

The bun is warm and fluffy while the juicy pork chop is well-marinated, giving each bite a beautiful burst of flavour. Flavourwise, it is a fusion of bak kwa and your typical western pork chop which makes it one unique sandwich.

Instead of having the sandwich ala carte, you can also opt to have it as a set that comes with a hot beverage (coffee/tea) and two soft-boiled eggs for only $5.80. With a tasty dish that’s pleasing to the eye and to the stomach, it’s the perfect breakfast option if you’re in the area!
