What makes the mee rebus stand out from its contenders? The secret lies in the gravy! Rahim Muslim Food’s secret sauce will definitely tickle your tastebuds. The mee rebus is a combination of thick potato gravy, and peanut sauce (you know, the ones that are usually paired with satay). A plate of mee rebus starts off with blanched yellow noodles, bee hoon, hard-boiled egg, and some beansprouts.

It is then topped off with thick potato gravy to the brim, before adding signature peanut sauce to push the plate to the limit. The famous mee rebus is then topped off with some greens, chilli, and lime. To enjoy, simply squeeze the lime juice all over the mee rebus before giving it a good toss. Nicely priced at $3.50 per plate, it is no wonder that it has a queue during lunchtime.
