This popular stall is run by Gwyneth Ang, who was also the owner of One Prawn Noodle when it was still at Golden Mile Food Centre. With over ten years of culinary experience, Gwyneth decided to start her own F&B business serving her favourite dish – Penang Prawn Noodles. She now leads a trusty team of chefs at One Prawn & Co and continues to draw crowds for her amazing prawn noodles.

Choose from your standard prawn noodles, to an array of combinations such as Lala & Small Prawns, Braised Pork Ribs & Small Prawns, and Shabu Sliced Pork & Prawn Noodles! Not only that, choose from a variety of noodles like yellow noodles, thin bee hoon, kway teow, and thick bee hoon in the soup or dry version.

Alternatively, you can opt to go with simply one ingredient or mix and match with any two ingredients. What’s unique about this stall is that you can also enjoy your prawn noodles with ngoh hiang, such as crispy prawn crackers, and sotong youtiao. Definitely something you don’t see at most prawn noodle stalls.

For the dry Jumbo Prawn Noodles ($14), the noodles are served with a generous amount of sauce and are topped with pork lard, fried shallots, beansprouts, vegetables, and sambal chilli. Be sure to a good mix to an amazing burst of flavour with a good pleasant kick of spice. Though the prawns aren’t exactly jumbo-size, they are seriously fresh and juicy.

The highlight of the dish is no doubt the rich and thick broth that customers can’t get enough of! Brewed for hours with pork bones and blended prawn heads, what you get is a heavenly broth bursting with umami. Each sip brings you an amazing burst of prawn flavour that you won’t be able to get enough of.

According to Gwyneth, she had not seen any other stalls in Singapore serving thick soups like the ones from Penang and wanted to bring a taste of it here. This certainly sets her stall apart from the rest as well. Additionally, you can drink the soup to your heart’s content as every customer is entitled to one free soup refill.
