This upcoming MId-Autumn Festival, Old Chang Kee’s Salted Egg Yam’O Mooncake Puff is making a glorious return from Sept 1 to 25. This tasty treat will be available at all kiosks islandwide, including four Curry Times restaurants. Hurry get them while stocks last from Sept 1 onwards!
Salted Egg Yam’O Mooncake Puff Returns
The Salted Egg Yam’O Mooncake Puff ($2.80) is inspired by the crispy layered yam mooncakes, except that it is wrapped in Old Chang Kee’s signature puff crust. The puff which is the same mooncake puff that was released last year, is filled with yam fillings and a salted egg yolk center. The puff has a buttery and crunchy exterior while the inside is filled with creamy yam. Featuring a 福’ stamped on the puff, it symbolizes fortune or blessings of good luck.
Alternatively, you can also head down to Curry Times, a curry restaurant concept by Old Chang Kee. Pair the puff with a hot kopi or teh for only $4 nett. Available all day at all Curry Times outlets!
