McDonald’s Singapore Delivers Hot Meals to Muslim Families In Need For Breaking of Fast This Ramadan!

With Ramadan entering the halfway mark, McDonald’s Singapore hasd decided to help their community. On April 11, McDonald’s delivered hot meals to the beneficiaries of 4PM. It’s a non-profit social service organisation in Singapore that aids underprivileged Muslim Families. They did this as a gesture of their support- and right on time for them to break their fast!

McDonald’s Singapore Donates Meals For Underprivileged Families

On April 11, twenty McDelivery riders delivered eighty sets of McDonald’s McCrispy (2 pieces) and drinks to twenty less fortunate Muslim families. According to Faz Husses, General Counsel & Legal Director of McDonald’s, they simply wanted this gesture to bring the community some comfort and joy! As we know, Ramadan is a time for giving, and McDonald’s gave their community a great gesture of support!

McDonald’s provided over 500 Hokkaido Salmon Meals in the form of food vouchers to the recipients of 4PM. This is, in addition, to donating to lower-income Muslim Families. The Malay Youth Literary Association, a non-profit social service organisation in Singapore praises McDonald’s generosity. Abu Bakar Sidiq, a member of 4PM, mentions that such gestures bring great fulfilment during Ramadan!
