Stepping into JB Sentral, you will be greeted by the aromatic scent of Rotiboy, a Malaysian bakery famous their coffee buns. Missing it already? Recently, we had noticed that the hoarding board for Rotiboy is up on Kinex with no official opening date. You will be happy to know that it is now baking!
Malaysia’s RotiBoy Officially Opens In Singapore
The popular bakery chain officially opens in Kinex on 13th June 2021. The humble bakery can be spotted with Rotiboy’s signature logo, and also a neon ‘Now Baking’ signage at the back. But, of course, you know you are close to Rotiboy when you take a whiff of the buttery goodness baking in the ovens. When you are here, you will need to take away their signature Rotiboy, priced at $2.50 each.
If you have yet to tried a Rotiboy before, the bun is filled with butter. Take a bite, and feel the crispy coffee-flavoured crust right on top. So sinful, yet so good. Apart from Rotiboy, there are other renditions as well. Try out Mochaboy, made with chocolate fillings with similar coffee-flavoured crust, and a dash of almond nibs. Or, for cheese enthusiasts, Cheeseboy has cheese on the inside and outside.
Buttermilkboy sounds perfectly splendid with butter on the inside, vanilla toppings with a dash of chocolate chips. While Rotiboy is priced at $2.50, the rest on the menu is slightly more expensive at the price of $3. If you are in a rush, you will be thrilled to know that you can pre-order your buns right here.
