How are you doing Foodies? We have always been envious of themed cafes in Japan. Japanese people are passionate and creative when it comes to presenting food and it is upsetting that most of us just can’t afford the experience first hand. Luckily we are starting to have themed cafes in Singapore too! This time, the popular cafe franchise, Kumoya, is opening up another themed cafe called “Rilakkuma -The Relax Café”.

In case you haven’t heard of it before, Kumoya is a Japanese-French inspired café based in sunny Singapore. Kumoya ventured into themed pop-up café in 2017 and successfully collaborated with some of the world’s most iconic brands such as Cinnamonroll, We Bare Bears, My Little Pony, and the list goes on. Their main goal is to make sure that their customers feel the inclusiveness and fun through food.
Furthermore, starting from 29th August 2020, Kumoya will be opening up a “Rilakkuma -The Relax Café” at their new Orchard Central outlet. A pop-up cafe with a year-long collaboration between San-X and Kumoya. So we should be expecting different San-X characters making their appearances at the pop-up cafe as well. Plus, you can be sure that each and every one of them is kawaii as heck!
Rilakkuma Inspired Menu
To fully immerse in the Rilakkuma theme, Kumoya’s kitchen crew will be collaborating with the popular bento food artist – Shirley Wong (@littlemissbento). For your information, Shirley has over five years of extensive experience in making creative bento and food styling. Additionally, the price range of their menu is $11.90 – $29.90, but it is definitely worth it. Just look at these pictures! There’s no way that this kawaii menu doesn’t make you squeal.
Private Room For Exclusive Party
In addition, with a space enough to accommodate 70 customers, you can even have your own exclusive private room for one of those special occasions. What’s more, the Rilakkuma theme will be around for 6 months! So don’t rush and give The Relax Cafe a visit when you have the chance okay?
