For those of you wondering, why are we celebrating International French Fry Day? Well, the French name is often attributed to troops who came over during World War I. They got their hands on Belgian fries. The Belgian army’s official language at the time was French, so the men assumed they were in France rather than Belgium. While all that is interesting, you are probably more interested in the Cheese Fries!
