Taiwanese Bakery Kazo Opens At Takashimaya Offering Famous Orh Nee & Cheese Tarts!

For those who love going to bakeries, here’s another one you can head to right in the heart of Orchard Road. Kazo is a Taiwanese bakery specialising in Japanese inspired pastries like cream puffs. Their new outlet at the food hall at Takashimaya will be their fourth outlet in Singapore.

Kazo Bakery Opens At Takashimaya

For Orh Nee lovers, you will so simply adore these tarts. Kazo Bakery’s Taro Tarts ($8.50 for 3) features a generous portion of creamy yam paste with a buttery cookie crust. Additionally, sweet ginko nuts are topped off for that added texture. These tarts are sure to take you a on a trip down memory lane, with the taste reminiscent of the Orh Nee dessert we all love.

For those who aren’t fans of Taro, there are also Cheese Tarts that are available in three flavours. Flavours available are Original ($3), Chocolate ($3.20), and Matcha ($3.20). These tarts will burst full of flavour as soon as you take the first bite. On top of that, the smooth, delectable cheese mousse will definitely have you coming back for more.

Another item available is their best-selling Golden Lava Danish Polo Bun ($3). The irresistible pastry has a flaky and crumbly exterior topped with icing sugar, with an interior layered similar to a croissant. On the inside, it is filled with the goodness of the salted egg yolk custard, certain to get your mouth watering.

Do try out their unique sculpted Kazo Man drinks with flavours including, Matcha Latte ($3.20) and Organic Soya Bean ($3). The Matcha Latte is similar to the Iced Green Tea Latte from Starbucks while the Soya Milk is not too sweet and well-balanced.

Kazo has a total of 4 outlets islandwide, one at Takashimaya, one at Suntec City, one and JCube, and one at Hong Lim Complex. Additionally, they have their own cafe located at Tanjong Katong. Hurry down and get your favourite pastries today!
