Between 11am and 4.30pm, diners at Kenny Rogers Roasters can enjoy a deal on their weekday lunches. The deal will be applicable on 9 of their best-selling main courses, starting from $10.90. With just a $1 top-up, diners can enjoy a bowl of mushroom soup and their choice of soft drinks.
OMG Chicken 2-Piece Meal
Of the dishes available for the lunch promotion, the OMG Chicken 2pcs Meal ($13.90) is one of the crowd favourites! The Outrageous Mouthwatering Guiltless (OMG) chicken, also known as the Unfried Fried Chicken, is baked in their combi oven instead of deep-fried. This unique preparation method successfully recreates the taste and texture of deep-fried chicken. This insanely crispy ‘fried’ chicken is just as good as the original, without the added guilt of indulgence.
Kenny’s Rotisserie Nasi Lemak
The lunch deal also includes the newly-introduced Kenny’s Rotisserie Nasi Lemak ($10.90), which has all your usual components of traditional Nasi Lemak – just with amazing chicken ?
The rice had a distinct lemak flavour, meeting one of the most important criteria for good nasi lemak. The red rice is cooked with extra virgin coconut oil, making the dish as healthy as nasi lemak can get.
Additionally, the dish comes with a hefty chunk of Kenny Rogers’ famous Rotisserie-roasted chicken. You definitely won’t miss the skinny chicken wings served with normal nasi lemak. If you’re feeling more like a true Western-style meal, opt for the Kenny’s Quarter Meal ($13.90), which features a quarter-piece of Rotisserie-roasted chicken. The meat is well-drenched in either the Original Brown Sauce or Black Pepper Sauce, and adds on to the flavour of the chicken. The dish also comes with your choice of 2 sides, and their famous home-made corn muffin!
The portions here are generous, and sure to fill you up sufficiently for lunch. For the big eaters, remember to use their deal to get an additional drink and soup for only $1! The mushroom soup was quite tasty, and definitely the icing on top of a hearty Southern-style meal.
