Gyoza-San is one of the newest kiosks to have graced Sun Plaza, having opened only three months ago. Freshly prepared every day, customers are ensured they are enjoying only the best gyozas Gyoza-San has to offer! You can even spot the gyoza-making machine they use that’s right at their stall counter! Using a Japanese cast iron to cook the gyozas, it grills and steams it at the same time, giving it a delicate texture while still having an amazing char!

Besides their unique array of flavours, Gyoza-San also has a special seasonal menu that changes every two months! In the third week of June, they will be launching their new menu concept, where they will be offering their gyozas in three variations- grilled, deep-fried, and boiled! Additionally, there will be mix and match platters, where you can choose any flavours you like in six and nine pieces!

Only minced chicken is used in their fillings as they are in midst of applying for Halal Certifications!  On top of that, each serving comes with a tasty dip of your choice! Choose from- Soy Sesame Vinaigrette with Ginger, Special Leek Oil, and Chilli Lime Vinaigrette For those who can’t decide, you can also leave it to Gyoza-San’s pre-chosen dip for the ultimate pairing!

For the Gyoza-San Original (6pcs for $4.90), it is served with a soy-sesame vinaigrette. The exterior has a beautiful char, adding incredible crispiness to the exterior! There is also a good ratio of skin to filling, ensuring each gyoza is substantial! Each bite is a burst of flavour that is further elevated with the vinaigrette, adding savouriness and hints of vinegar!

This dish is perfect for everyone as the unagi flavour isn’t overpowering, yet it’s enough to satisfy all those who are fans of it! Served with their own secret teriyaki sauce, it adds a touch of sweetness that blends perfectly with the savouriness of the gyoza!
