Here’s A Simple Recipe For Homemade Gardenia Garlic Bread & Mushroom Soup

The famous mushroom soup and garlic bread combo is what most of us have grown up having whenever we visit Pizza Hut. It’s undeniably one of the best comfort food out there. A bowl of piping hot creamy mushroom soup paired with crunchy garlic bread is what most of you need after a long day. Or rather, any day of the week. So, scroll on down to check out this real easy soup and bread combo recipe that you can whip out whenever you like to!

Mushroom Soup

Ingredients: 300ml water, 500ml fresh milk, 1 chicken cube, 1/2 tsp parsley, 1/2 tsp black pepper, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 cup wheat flour, 1/2 Tbsp butter, 1 tin of button mushrooms (chopped)

Step 1: Pour in water and milk into a pot. Bring it to boil. Then, add in the chicken cube.

Step 2: Add in black pepper and mushrooms. Stir well.

Step 3: Add in parsley, butter and salt. Continue stirring as you do so.

Step 4: Premix the flour with a little water. Then, strain it and add it into the pot.

Step 5: Lower the heat to let the soup simmer a bit. When consistency of soup thickens, it means it’s done!

Garlic Bread

Ingredients: Gardenia bread, Garlic, Butter, Salt (optional), Parsley

Step 1: Mash the garlic. Then, mix it into the butter.

Step 2: Add in a pinch of salt, parsley and mix it all in.

Step 3: Apply the garlic butter onto your bread.

Step 4: Toast it and you’re done!
