Inspired by the stories of everyday folks, popular bakery Folks & Stories has recently opened a new outlet in Toa Payoh Central. Following the success of their first outlet in Everton Park, the husband-and-wife duo behind this sweet treat store finally decided to bring their delicious bakes to cookie fanatics in the central region of Singapore.
Famous Folks & Stories Opens Second Outlet At Toa Payoh Central
Prepared with only natural ingredients, the bakes are void of all artificial flavouring or colourings. Additionally, they only use French butter, Belgian couverture chocolate, as well as handmade jams and reductions.
Characterised by their soft-baked finish, with light, crunchy edges and soft, chewy centers, the cookies at Folk & Stories feature a yummy blend of delicious flavours inspired by the owner’s very own love story!
Inspired Cookies, Brownies, And Other Bakes
For example, the Nutty Professor ($4.50) is a brown butter cookie sandwiched with a house-made roasted pistachio ganache inspired by Jody’s husband. Other crowd favourite hits are the Curious Merrymaker ($4.50) and Care Bear ($4.90).
Another confection born to celebrate the couple’s love is the Three Year Old Brownie ($5.50). Specially created for their third anniversary, this chocolate brownie is made up of spongy layers of passionfruit cheesecake and a salted cookie crust.
Order now and pick up your orders directly at their Everton Park or Toa Payoh outlets, where you can also pick up additional individual bakes!
