Chef Eddy Wan is a Malaysian-born chef with over ten years of experience. He always dreamt of having his own stall ever since coming to Singapore at 19 to fulfil his culinary dreams. He first started perfecting his cooking skills at the hotel he was working in, before becoming a private chef on a luxury yacht at only 25! After travelling around the world for three years, Eddy came back to Singapore and trained in a restaurant before setting up his stall last year. He wanted to share his labour of love with the people of Singapore and has been serving up resturant-worthy duck confits ever since.

The Duck Confit ($10) is simply to die for. The duck is marinated overnight for 24 hours and seasoned before it is slow-cooked for at least 14 to 16 hours. This results in a glorious piece of duck leg that simply cuts through like butter. The duck meat is ridiculously tender, yet still has a firm bite to it.

Flavour-wise, it is well-seasoned with a mild salty spice taste to it. Additionally, a secret spice is added to give it extra flavour. Every bite is simply an explosion of flavours! Just one look at the dish will get your mouth watering! Choose between side dishes of aglio olio or mashed potato. The mashed potato is highly recommended as it adds a creamy texture in contrast to the duck. The mash is drizzled with gravy and served with grilled corn on the cob. Considering the portion and quality you’re getting, all these for only $10 is an absolute steal!
