Serves Legit Spicy Ban Mian With Large Prawns

Located in Xi De Li at Whampoa Market, China Whampoa Homemade Noodle is a true hidden gem. Just like many places that serve authentic ban mian, this spot makes their noodles from scratch, too. Many netizens had commented that their noodles are topnotch. The noodles have described as a mixture of springy and al dente.

There are several types of noodles to choose from here. The default selection is you mian, but you can opt for ban mian instead. If you don’t know the difference, you mian is the thinner version whereas ban mian is the thicker version for noodles.
